Staff Infrastructure and Kubernetes Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior / Staff Infrastructure & Kubernetes Engineer to deploy, operate, and support production infrastructure platforms across enterprise and mission-critical environments. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on Linux-based infrastructure, Kubernetes, and on-premises deployments. About the Role Working closely with engineering and delivery teams, you will be responsible for implementing secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure platforms while supporting customer deployments and infrastructure integration projects. Responsibilities Deploy, configure, and manage production Kubernetes environments.Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based servers and operating systems.Deliver complex infrastructure deployments across on-premises and hybrid environments.Configure networking, storage, and system components required to support production platforms.Troubleshoot infrastructure issues across compute, networking, storage, and operating system layers.Develop automation scripts and operational tooling using Bash and Linux shell scripting.Support customer infrastructure deployments and platform integration activities.Produce high-quality technical documentation, including deployment guides, implementation documentation, and operational runbooks.Collaborate with engineering, sales, and delivery teams to ensure successful project implementation.Monitor and optimize platform performance, reliability, and operational stability.Follow infrastructure security best practices and contribute to the delivery of secure, resilient platforms. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).10+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, Systems Engineering, DevOps, or a similar role.Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience deploying and managing production Kubernetes environments.Strong Linux administration skills with experience supporting enterprise production systems.Experience deploying and supporting on-premises infrastructure environments.Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, DNS, routing, switching, and firewalls.Experience with enterprise storage technologies and performance optimization.Proficiency in Bash or Linux shell scripting for automation and operational tasks.Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across infrastructure and platform technologies.Experience working closely with cross-functional engineering and delivery teams.Excellent communication and technical documentation skills. Preferred Skills Experience supporting enterprise or mission-critical infrastructure environments.Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.Experience with hybrid infrastructure deployments.Knowledge of infrastructure security best practices and secure system hardening.Exposure to container technologies and cloud-native platforms.Experience working in customer-facing implementation or professional services environments.Relevant certifications such as CKA, CKAD, RHCSA, RHCE, LFCS, or equivalent.
