Cloud Engineer Join us and make a difference! Navier Medical is a growing software medical device and services company. Our mission is to improve the assessment and outcomes for patients at risk of heart disease. We’re developing novel heart image analysis methodologies for cardiologists and radiology practices worldwide, to identify patients at risk and provide better care. With our first-generation medical device FDA cleared, we’re now scaling that platform for global operations. About the role This is a Cloud Engineer position within a Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) environment. You will work within our quality management system, building the infrastructure to scale our products. You’ll join our growing cloud team based in Perth, where your day-to-day activities will assist with: Design and implementation of the cloud infrastructure for an AI-SaaS platform that processes medical imaging data, from early development through to clinical production use.Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IAC) to support reliable releases and consistent cloud environments across development and production.Support AI/ML and imaging workloads, including containerised services, GPU-enabled compute, and data pipelines. Essential experience At least 3 years' commercial experience working with Amazon Web Services in the development and delivery of cloud services and infrastructure, including handling of sensitive data.Experience deploying and / or interfacing software products to cloud environments.Experience Configuring continuous integration / continuous delivery pipelines and DevOps automations (preferably github or gitlab workflows).Experience with maintaining and deploying cloud infrastructure with IAC (preferably Terraform).Experience programming in one or more languages (preferably python and/or java). Desirable experience Developing software as a medical device under an ISO 13485 quality management system and the IEC 62304 software lifecycle standard.Hands-on experience integrating clinical software with hospital or radiology practice image archive (PACS) systems using the DICOM standard.Experience developing and working with cloud-based AI pipelines.Familiarity with documentation, verification and validation practices required by regulatory bodies.Cybersecurity threat modelling and risk assessments.
