As a Mechanical Engineer II you will support the AP1000 containment vessel design and fabrication activities. You will report to the Manager of Reactor Vessel and Containment Vessel Design and Analysis for Reactor Component Engineering. This position can be hybrid at a European Westinghouse location or hybrid at the Cranberry Woods, PA facility. We will not provide relocation. Key Responsibilities Support work on and be able to interpret ASME design specifications, fabrication specifications, design drawingsWork with other departments for gathering data and developing detailed designs/drawings for upgrades and new build projects.Analytical calculations and evaluations using engineering tools and methodsCommunicate with leads, project managers, customers, and suppliers to coordinate activities associated with assigned work scopeOccasionally travel to customer and manufacturing vendor sites to provide on-site support, deliver presentations, and aid in issue resolution Qualifications 3+ years of experienceBS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics or recognized equivalentUnderstand AP1000 containment vessel design documents like drawings, specifications, and calculation summariesUnderstanding of fabrication process and experience with supplier interactions We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 9,250 to 11,600 PLN gross per month.
