What is your role?
As a Software Engineer in the Customer Connect team, you will build robust software solutions and integrations that power our digital platform and deliver a smooth experience for our dealers and technical partners.
Working in an Agile SCRUM team building new features and microservices.
Analyze, build, and test integrations with potential Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and key integration partners (OCI, cXML, REST APIs, EDI).
Map systems, data flows, and dependencies while translating technical complexity into clear options, trade-offs, and actionable direction.
Test new technologies, propose continuous software improvements, and resolve bugs in existing tools and services.
Analyze feature requests and write user stories out of them.
Come up with improvements for our software and help with solving bugs in existing tools and services.
Take part in international projects related to master data management, e-commerce, and content.
Operate within Agile SCRUM Methodologies utilizing the Atlassian toolchain (JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, Git) for effective collaboration.
Your team
You will join a team of 4 developers and one product owner and work mainly on microservices in close collaboration with the other developers.
We operate on a fully cloud-based environment on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), primarily working with TypeScript (JavaScript), CloudRun, and PubSub.
Being a part of our international and cross-functional Customer Journey teams, combining Business Analysis, Data Science, and Software Development.
Who are you?
5+ years of experience in software development, technical analysis, integration, or architecture.
Strong knowledge of B2B integrations (OCI, cXML, REST APIs, EDI).
DMS & Onboarding Capability: Proven ability to analyze, build, and test integrations with potential Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and provide an easy and smooth onboarding process for dealers.
Structuring & Clarity: Ability to structure complex technical topics, drive clarity, map systems, data flows, and dependencies.
Stakeholder Communication: Strong stakeholder communication skills to translate complexity into clear options and trade-offs.
Proactive & Outcome-driven mindset: Explorative, independent, team player who connects well with stakeholders.
Tech Stack: Hands-on experience with NodeJS, TypeScript, common cloud languages, and a Google Cloud First mindset.
DevOps & Architecture: Experience with Terraform, GitHub, GCP, CI/CD pipelines, and Microservices / Event-Driven Architecture.
SDLC & Quality: Experienced across full software development lifecycle in Agile Scrum; maintains high quality standards and shares knowledge co-operatively.
Language: Fluent in written and spoken English.
