Role Description As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer at PayGap, you will design, build, and optimize user-facing features for our pay transparency platform.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate complex pay equity data into intuitive, accessible interfaces.
Daily responsibilities include implementing high-quality, maintainable code, reviewing contributions from other engineers, and improving performance, accessibility, and reliability of the frontend stack.
You will also participate in architectural discussions, contribute to UX enhancements, and help mentor other team members.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Copenhagen.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).Hands-on experience collaborating with Back-End Web Development teams and integrating RESTful or GraphQL APIs.Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and clean, modular code practices.Experience building responsive, accessible web interfaces and working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Experience with testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Git) is beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.Interest in pay equity, HR tech, or analytics-driven products is an advantage.
