Job Title: Java Developer with AI Tool Experience Location: Montreal, QC Work Arrangement: Onsite (hybrid) Employment Type: Contract Duration: 12 Months Domain: BFSI Pay Rate: CAD 60-65/hour Incorporated Application Deadline: Aug 14th, 2026 SKILLS REQUIRED Mandatory Skills: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable Java-based enterprise applications.Build and optimize distributed systems, microservices, and REST APIs using Core Java.Develop multi-threaded and concurrent applications with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.Apply strong knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) to solve complex technical challenges.Work in Linux/Unix environments and use Python for scripting and automation tasks.Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to improve engineering productivity.Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams, participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and production support.Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is highly preferred.
