Software Engineer (Senior Track)📍Zagreb | Hybrid F24 is Europe's leading crisis management SaaS platform, trusted by governments, airlines, banks, and Fortune 500s in over 100 countries. When a major incident unfolds, our software is the system people rely on. Our Zagreb Tech Centre is already up and running, with Wave 1 in place and Wave 2 now underway — and we're looking for engineers who are ready to step up and grow into a senior role as part of that build. Why F24? You'll be working on technology that genuinely matters. The Services team is the result of merging two established backend teams into one — responsible for roughly 10 shared services that run across every F24 product. We're talking high-performance event logging, billing, unified data object storage, single sign-on, user services, asset services, and more. These aren't isolated features; they're the foundational layer that every product in the portfolio depends on. The work is technically meaty: horizontally scalable microservices, event-driven architecture with Kafka and RabbitMQ, multi-database design with a real focus on query performance, and streaming services built for scale. You'll also get exposure to what F24's AI engineers are building on RAG pipelines, MCP servers, and LLM streaming integrations — a great environment if you want to stretch into that space. This is a role for someone who's already comfortable in backend Node.js work and is looking for the next step: more ownership, more complexity, and more say in how things get built.
