Application Closes: 19/08/2026 Role: Integration Engineer Function: Chief Information Officer Department: Platform Services & Product Engineering Section: Software Engineering Sub-Section: Middleware & Integration Reports to (Role): Team Leader Job Summary Overall Purpose: The job holder is responsible for the design, development, and support of integration solutions across the Bank’s technology landscape, enabling the secure and efficient exchange of data between systems, applications, and external partners. The role contributes to the delivery of APIs, event-driven services, middleware integrations (including ESB), and managed file transfer solutions (e.g., MOVEit), ensuring that implementations follow defined standards, are secure, and meet performance and reliability requirements. Working under the guidance of senior engineers and architects, the job holder is expected to implement integration solutions in line with enterprise architecture principles, support operational stability, and contribute to the continuous improvement of integration platforms and services. Key Responsibilities The job holder will be responsible for: Developing, configuring, testing, and supporting integration solutions across the Bank's technology landscape in accordance with established standards, guidelines, and project requirements. Implementing and maintaining APIs, web services, and integration interfaces that enable secure and reliable communication between internal systems, digital channels, and external partners. Developing integrations using middleware and ESB platforms while ensuring compliance with approved architectural and security requirements. Configuring and supporting managed file transfer solutions, including MOVEit, to facilitate secure and reliable exchange of information between systems and third parties. Implementing file transfer workflows, automation processes, scheduling requirements, and monitoring mechanisms to support business operations. Supporting the implementation of event-driven and service-oriented integration patterns as defined by solution designs and technical specifications. Participating in technical analysis activities and contributing to the design of integration solutions under the guidance of senior engineers and architects. Performing unit testing, integration testing, and supporting end-to-end testing activities to ensure the quality and reliability of delivered solutions. Monitoring integration services and file transfer processes, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure service availability and operational stability. Investigating and resolving incidents, defects, and integration-related problems while contributing to root cause analysis and service improvement initiatives. Supporting the maintenance, enhancement, and optimization of existing integration services to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability. Maintaining accurate technical documentation, interface specifications, operational procedures, and support artefacts for integration services. Collaborating with application development, infrastructure, security, architecture, and business teams during project delivery and operational support activities. Contributing to the implementation of CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and engineering best practices to improve delivery efficiency and quality. Ensuring that all assigned work complies with the Bank's security standards, data protection requirements, governance policies, and regulatory obligations. Keeping abreast of emerging integration technologies, tools, and development practices and applying relevant knowledge to assigned initiatives. Participating in knowledge-sharing activities and contributing to the continuous improvement of integration platforms, processes, and team capabilities. Attitude Strong ownership of assigned tasks and deliverablesWillingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and platformsFocus on quality, reliability, and security in all integration work Required Criteria Previous proven work experience of three (3) Years experience in a technology role AND an MQF level 5 Award in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR Previous proven work experience of four (4) Years' Experience in a technology role OR Previous proven work experience of one (1) Year in a technology role AND an MQF level 6 Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Desirable Criteria Experience with middleware or ESB platforms in an enterprise environment, Exposure to MOVEit or other MFT solutions, Experience in banking or regulated environments and Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices, .Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure, integration platforms) In our process of shortlisting candidates for the vacancy, please note that preference may be given to candidates whose profiles best align with the requirements and responsibilities of the role.
