Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer / Software Development Lead who combines strong technical expertise with sound engineering judgement.
You will contribute to architectural decisions, mentor developers, and help shape the technical direction of our platforms while remaining hands-on with development.
This is not a role focused on maintaining legacy software.
You will play a key part in designing and building scalable financial products from the ground up, working with modern architectures, microservices, cloud-native technologies, and high-availability systems.

Promote engineering best practices and identify opportunities to improve development quality, efficiency, and scalabilitySupport and mentor other developers through technical guidance and knowledge sharingDesign, develop, and enhance modern .NET services powering our core fintech platformBuild secure, scalable APIs and integrations with internal and external systemsDevelop and maintain microservices using asynchronous communication and message brokersImprove the reliability, resilience, observability, and performance of existing servicesParticipate in solution architecture, technical design, estimation, decomposition, and code reviewsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software in an agile environmentEngineer high-availability solutions suitable for mission-critical financial systemsOptimise database performance, transactions, and data access strategiesMaintain and continuously improve existing applications while contributing to new product development
Talent Profile:
Essential
Minimum 5 years' commercial experience developing applications with .NET/.NET CoreStrong experience designing and building backend services and REST APIsExcellent understanding of relational databases, transactions, indexing, and query optimisationSolid knowledge of object-oriented programming and software engineering principles including SOLID, KISS, and DRYExperience working with asynchronous architectures, message brokers, and messaging patterns such as Outbox, Inbox, and SagaExperience participating in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical solution designStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood written and spoken English (Intermediate level or above)
