Role Description The Software Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions that support PENTA’s automatic identification and smart system products. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing back-end features, integrating APIs, optimizing system performance, and ensuring security and reliability of applications. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, participate in code reviews, and contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement. This is a full-time onsite role based in Pula, with the possibility to work from home part of the time after few months from onsite work. Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development principles.Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.Experience with Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.Knowledge of secure coding practices and familiarity with ISO-related quality and security standards is an advantage.Ability to analyze requirements, design scalable solutions, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in hybrid team settings.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience with transportation, access control, IoT, or embedded systems is a plus.
