Software Engineer – Communication Platforms

As part of this journey, we are looking for a Software Engineer – Communication Platforms to join our team and play an active role in developing the next generation of our communication platform. In this role, you will become part of the Hosted vPBX development team, contributing to the design and implementation of new features that enhance our platform, improve the user experience, and increase the efficiency of internal processes. You will also contribute to the development of configuration tools, new platform capabilities, and automation mechanisms that will form the foundation of the next generation of our communication platform. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain new features of our Hosted vPBX platform.Enhance existing platform capabilities, workflows, and overall system performance.Contribute to the development of our new Visual Dialplan Builder.Develop management and configuration tools for communication services.Build automation mechanisms that simplify the day-to-day management and provisioning of services.Collaborate closely with the Product and Technical Support teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.Collaborate on the integration and productization of AI-enabled capabilities. Job Requirements Must have At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Python and PHP development.Experience in designing, building and consuming REST APIs, including the integration of third-party services.Experience with MySQL or other relational database management systems.Hands-on experience with Git and version control workflows.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.A genuine interest in developing new products, features, and platform capabilities. Good to have Experience with VoIP or PBX platforms, such as Asterisk, FreePBX, or similar communication systems.Understanding of telephony workflows, including IVR, Ring Groups, Queues, Routing Rules, and Time Conditions.Experience developing configuration tools, administration panels, or internal management interfaces.
