Test Engineer

Manual Testing - 3 to 5 years. Good to have android mobile and device testing using ADB (Android Debug Bridge). Key Responsibilities :Test strategy and test plan development for new products and featuresTest case authoring and maintenance (add new cases, edit existing ones for accuracy)Test run creation/assignmentBug review, de-duplication, and triage — prevent randomization of engineering teams by identifying duplicates, requesting clarification, and ensuring bugs adhere to reporting standardsTest status reportingCross-functional interactions and feature bring-up with engineersSoftware and hardware bug investigation and reportingBug fix verificationTargeted ad-hoc testing of undocumented areasReview of bug reports from other team membersIdentify test and process gaps and raise them to Quality leadershipOnboarding and mentoring more junior team membersClear verbal and written communication, including team group posts to share test status and provide clarity on defect report s
