Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to spearhead the enhancement of standardized event logging and functionality across Equities inventory management and trading systems. This pivotal role involves establishing a centralized event view layer and crafting tools to efficiently capture system-wide events. Additionally, you'll drive the optimization of current inventory management calculators through market-by-market deployment and configuration settings. Alongside these initiatives, you'll contribute to ongoing Business-As-Usual (BAU) development efforts within the inventory management system. Role And Responsibilities Lead software development and deployment activities for standardized event logging and functionality enhancement.Conduct unit tests and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure product integrity.Adhere to the Software Development Lifecycle (SDL) as established by the development team. Candidate Profile Proficient in Java and experienced in streaming-based microservices architecture using tools like Kafka Streams/Flink (Minimum 5 years).Extensive hands-on experience with Spring Boot framework (Minimum 5 years).Competent with Federated Angular/ReactJS/AG Grid technologies (Minimum 3 years).Familiarity with data serialization formats such as Avro, JSON, and Protobuf (Minimum 1 year).Proficiency in toolsets including Autosys, Jenkins, and Maven (Minimum 1 year).Knowledge of databases like Oracle/kdb+/q is advantageous (Optional).Experience with Apache Ignite is a plus (Optional).
