Senior Software Engineer - Prime Services

This role covers development and on-going production support of their equities trading system and other integrated web services. The team is seeking a seasoned Java developer with good knowledge in financial trading of any asset classes, good habbit in maintaining clean code development and documentation. Responsibilities Handle daily tasks covering development, system upgrade, performance tuning, testing, and production support.Perform clean code development that aligned with team's log standardisation for crucial events.Perform configuration setting and optimise the performance of current calculation engine and its deployment processProvide production support and BAU work for all equities related web services. Requirements at least 5 years of backend or fullstack development experience in Java and modern JavaScript framework.bachelor degeree in computer science is a MUSTsolid implementation experience in spring boot microservices architecture is a mustfamiliar with automation tools such as Maven and Jenkinsstrong conceptual knowledge in relational database, such as Oracle PL SQL, PostgreSQLInterest in familiarising distributed database and timeseries database technology, such as KDB+good understanding in react and angular stack, ideally with microfrontends UI experienceproactive work attitude with fluent communication skills in English
