The client is a well-established financial institution with a strong presence in the market, continuously investing in the development and modernisation of its core banking technology. As part of its long-term technology strategy, the bank is expanding its Core Banking Engineering team and is looking for a Junior Core Banking System Developer with OpenEdge ABL knowledge. This is an excellent opportunity to work on business-critical banking systems, collaborate with experienced professionals, and build your career in enterprise software development. 🔍 Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, improve, and support the bank's information systems;Develop new system functionality while maintaining and enhancing existing functionality;Support business teams by preparing technical solutions and technical specifications;Propose improvements and modernisation initiatives for existing systems and resources;Continuously develop your technical knowledge and improve your professional qualifications. 🎓 Requirements: At least 2 years of practical experience in backend software development;Good knowledge of relational databases; experience with OpenEdge databases will be considered an advantage;Experience working with version control systems, such as Git;Knowledge of the OpenEdge ABL (Advanced Business Language) programming language is required;Knowledge of Progress OpenEdge Application Server (PAS) or experience working with similar application server technologies will be considered an advantage;Motivation to learn, develop professionally, and adopt new technologies. ✨ The Employer Offers: Office located in the heart of Riga;Monthly salary €2,500 - €3,500;Professional growth opportunities based on your performance and initiative;Friendly and professional colleagues who value collaboration and teamwork;Health insurance after the successful completion of the probation period.
