Software Engineer (Senior Track)📍Zagreb | Hybrid

When a major incident unfolds, our software is the system people rely on.
Our Zagreb Tech Centre is already up and running, with Wave 1 in place and Wave 2 now underway — and we're looking for engineers who are ready to step up and grow into a senior role as part of that build.

The Services team is the result of merging two established backend teams into one — responsible for roughly 10 shared services that run across every F24 product.
We're talking high-performance event logging, billing, unified data object storage, single sign-on, user services, asset services, and more.
These aren't isolated features; they're the foundational layer that every product in the portfolio depends on.
The work is technically meaty: horizontally scalable microservices, event-driven architecture with Kafka and RabbitMQ, multi-database design with a real focus on query performance, and streaming services built for scale.
You'll also get exposure to what F24's AI engineers are building on RAG pipelines, MCP servers, and LLM streaming integrations — a great environment if you want to stretch into that space.
This is a role for someone who's already comfortable in backend Python work and is looking for the next step: more ownership, more complexity, and more say in how things get built.

What You'll Bring:
Solid, hands-on Python backend experience, ideally with some FastAPI and async exposure — you're confident writing production code, you just haven't had the platform to work at this scale yetExperience in a product/SaaS environmentSome exposure to distributed systems, message brokers, or cloud-native tooling — you don't need to be an expert, but you should understand the concepts and be keen to go deeperCuriosity about AI tools or ML integration — direct experience is a bonus, not a requirementA collaborative mindset, and the ambition to take on more responsibility and grow into a senior-level role
