Summary

An experienced EASA-licensed aircraft maintenance engineer is required for a permanent, hands-on role supporting the maintenance and continued airworthiness of a modern aircraft fleet. Responsibilities include scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, certifying work under applicable aviation regulations, diagnosing and correcting technical defects, completing maintenance records, and supporting operational turnarounds. Candidates must hold a B1 or B2 license and be able to work a rotating 7-on/7-off shift pattern.

Description

Oaklands Global are currently seeking experienced EASA Licensed Engineer (B1 or B2) to join our client's growing maintenance team based in Cologne. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic aviation environment, supporting the maintenance and continued airworthiness of a modern fleet. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring aircraft are maintained to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational reliability. Shift Pattern: 7 on 7 off Contract Type: Permanent (Accommodation and flights are NOT provided) Type Rating: ANY Key Responsibilities Carry out scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance activities.Certify maintenance tasks in accordance with EASA Part-145 regulations and company procedures.Diagnose and rectify aircraft defects and technical issues.Ensure all maintenance documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.Support aircraft turnaround activities to meet operational requirements.Maintain compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.Liaise effectively with maintenance control, engineering management, and flight operations teams. Requirements Essential Valid EASA Part-66 B1 or B2 Licence.Current type rating on any aircraftRecent hands-on maintenance experience on the relevant aircraft type.Strong knowledge of EASA Part-145 maintenance requirements.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Right to work in Germany without sponsorship Desirable Additional aircraft type ratings.Experience in line maintenance and/or base maintenance environments.Human Factors, Fuel Tank Safety, and EWIS training.Flexible approach to shift work and operational requirements.
