Software QA Analyst (Manual and Automation)
Test Planning & Execution
Develop detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.Execute manual or automated testing for new features, enhancements, and defect fixes.Functional TestingRegression TestingIntegration TestingSmokeLoad/Performance TestingExploratory TestingValidate end-to-end business workflows and system integrations.Create automated testing based on solid flow for regression and smoke testing.
Defect Management
Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects.Work closely with developers and business stakeholders to reproduce and resolve issues.Verify defect fixes and perform regression testing to ensure stability of releases.
Data & API Validation
Validate application data accuracy and integrity.Perform SQL-based data verification and reconciliation.
(Data -QA Validation)Test and validate REST APIs using tools such as Postman.Verify business rules, calculations, and report outputs.
Agile Team Participation
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are testable and well understood.
Quality Process Improvement
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and methodologies.Recommend and evaluate new testing tools and best practices.Assist in maintaining test documentation and QA metrics.
Qualifications
Education
Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.Equivalent combination of education and practical experienceISTQB or other QA certifications
Experience
At least 3 years of Software Quality Assurance experience.Experience testing web-based applications and enterprise systems.
(Manual and Automation)Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC.Experience with:Azure DevOps or JiraAutomation using Playwright /Typescript (a must)Postman, VS Code, Visual Studio
Bonus To Have
Prior experience or exposure in any of the following areas:
Angular, React.js, C#, .NET, .NET Core, Java, Claude, GitHub, JavaScript
Database Applications: PostgreSQL , Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL
