Job Description Some of what you will do: This role defines a Senior QA Engineer position responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of an eCommerce platform through a combination of manual and automated testing practices. Specifically, You Will Identify quality gaps and implement preventive testing strategies to minimize future defects.Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, story grooming, and retrospectives.Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on test automation, quality metrics, and test coverage.Enhance operational efficiency by optimizing QA processes and practices.Mentor junior QA team members and promote quality engineering best practices across delivery teams. Some Of What You Need 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience supporting eCommerce or customer-facing digital platforms.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.Strong hands-on experience with Playwright test automation frameworks.Experience with API testing and validation.Experience using Jira and Xray for test management, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum software delivery methodologies.Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.Proficiency with SQL for data validation and backend testing.Familiarity with Git, source control practices, and modern DevOps workflows.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Physical Demands/working Conditions Office environment – Hybrid, with 4 days onsite in Richmond Hill, subject to the hybrid policy.
