What You’ll Do Design and implement scalable, reliable backend services and APIs using Node.js, Go, or PythonArchitect data workflows and orchestrate complex backend logic using microservicesCollaborate with frontend, ML, and product teams to bring new features to lifeManage and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases for performance and reliabilityContainerize and deploy services using Docker and KubernetesOwn uptime and performance of backend systems in real-world environmentsWrite well-documented, maintainable, and thoroughly tested codeTroubleshoot, debug, and improve system stability across environments What We’re Looking For 3+ years of professional experience in backend developmentProficiency in at least one core language: Node.js, Go, or PythonHands-on experience with Docker and KubernetesFamiliarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or AzureStrong understanding of RESTful API design and implementationExperience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other SQL/NoSQL databasesComfort working in CI/CD environments and automating deploymentsSolid grasp of backend system design, security, and performanceStrong debugging skills and a clean, maintainable coding style Bonus Points For Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetryFamiliarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, AWS CDK, Pulumi)Exposure to high-scale systems and distributed architectureKnowledge of security practices for APIs and backend systems Why Join Meibel?
