Backend Developer (Golang) – Speaksee Overview Speaksee is a fast-growing social impact scale-up in Rotterdam. We develop solutions that make conversations accessible for the Deaf, hard-of-hearing, and non-native speakers. Our flagship product is the Speaksee Microphone Kit – the world’s first microphone system that accurately subtitles and translates group conversations into 40+ languages. It’s already reimbursed by major health insurers in the Netherlands and trusted by leading organizations like PwC, KPN, Rabobank, UWV, and the Municipality of Rotterdam. The Role We’re looking for a motivated Backend Software Engineer (Golang) who wants to use their skills to make a positive social impact. You’ll join a small backend team (3 engineers) and work closely together to design, build, and maintain the systems that power our real-time transcription and translation services.
