Department: Research & Development Location: EMEA-Armenia-Yerevan Description Align Technology’s one of the R&D teams (Clinical Services Applications), that is responsible for several critical projects, is looking for a Software Engineer who wants to try different programming languages like Java, Python, Terraform, LUA and different technologies like AWS, Spring Boot, Spring WebFlux, Quarkus, Aurora DB, Redis, Kinesis, Kafka, JMeter. Along with the business projects we also participate in research projects and our team has won Align Hackathon with its Canary API project. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will have following responsibilities: Development, debugging and support of corporate software applications using Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus, Terraform, JavaScriptaccording to specific coding standards.Accurate and precise code documentingDesign and development of tests for quality assurance of implemented program components.Assistance QA team to ensure the software is of high quality.Participation, if necessary, in on-site work aimed at implementation, debugging of software applications.Participation in all company’s obligatory trainings and meetings.Ensures the effective fulfillment of objectives and deadlines assigned to him or her.Manage tasks through the entire project lifecycle.Assist in requirements gathering, planning, design and testing of assigned tasks. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise In this role, you’ll need … Understanding of RESTful web services concept and HTTP protocolHands-on experience with Java, AWS, Spring BootUnderstanding of software, hardware, networks, databases, messaging etc. well enough to do feasibility and estimating.Good verbal & written communication skills.Good knowledge of English (technical terminology, ability to document the process of debugging in English, base colloquial). Nice to have Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, STEM, or equivalent experience.Experience: 5+ years working with software requirements, preferably in regulated, medical, or complex 3D/geometry-based software environments.Knowledge of DevOps toolset: build/deployment automation, monitoring/logging infrastructureKnowledge of cloud infrastructure providers like AWSExperience with software validation: functional and/or performance testingWork with requirements: user interaction, documentation, decision architecture Applicant Privacy Policy Review our Applicant Privacy Policyfor additional information.
