Title: Core Java Developer – Capital Markets & Trading Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-Time Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.7+ years of professional software development experience.Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 8/11/17).Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, Collections, JVM internals, and Multithreading/Concurrency.Hands-on experience developing Electronic Trading (E-Trading) or Trading Platform applications.Strong experience working in Capital Markets, including Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives, or similar financial products.Experience designing and developing low-latency, high-throughput distributed systems.Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles.Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and enterprise application development.Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
