We are looking for a talented System Integration Engineer to join the SI team. As a Cognyter you will: Support customer systems and solutions deployed in complex, multi-technology environments under the guidance of senior engineers.Assist with the installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of HW appliances, operating systems, application software, and system management tools.Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with vendors and 3rd party technical teams to support problem resolution.Support customer-facing activities and contribute to building strong customer relationships.Participate in ongoing support discussions with technology and operations teams to ensure timely issue resolution.Handle support requests and escalations related to systems under implementation, with guidance from senior team members when required.Work closely with customers and internal support teams to facilitate effective communication and issue tracking.Engage with customer teams to understand reported issues, validate solutions, and communicate outcomes.Assist in collecting data and preparing Root Cause Analysis documentation for customer incidents.For that mission you'll need: BS degree in Computer Science, System Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.1-3 years of experience in a Support Engineer, System Engineer, Technical Support, or similar role.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.Ability to create and maintain clear technical documentation.Basic to intermediate knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems (RHEL, Ubuntu).Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible.Exposure to container technologies and orchestration platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins.Basic scripting skills in Python and/or Bash.Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS, or Kafka is an advantage.Basic understanding of hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting.Foundational knowledge of WAN and LAN networking concepts.Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.Willingness to travel abroad up to 30% per year.An endlessly curious mind and a passion for learning new technologies. Nice to have: Basic knowledge of telecom technologies, including GSM, LTE, and 5G networks.Exposure to enterprise storage solutions and server hardware such as EMC, NetApp, HPE, or Dell.Understanding of packet-switched and IP networking concepts.Experience with database administration or maintenance, including MS SQL or PostgreSQL.Awareness of infrastructure security concepts and security technologies.
