Responsibilities:Design, develop, maintain, and support PHSD backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Develop and enhance React-based user interfaces supporting provider search, directory management, and administration. Design and implement FHIR R4/R4B APIs using Smile CDR and AWS HealthLake. Develop real-time provider data synchronization between PHSD and the Agency master data management platforms. Design and implement integrations with Provider Registry, hospital information systems, and provincial healthcare services. Build scalable healthcare search capabilities using OpenSearch and FHIR search standards. Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs supporting internal and external consuming applications. Implement SMART on FHIR authentication and authorization workflows. Develop secure OAuth2/OIDC authentication and JWT authorization services. Implement healthcare interoperability using HL7v2 and FHIR messaging patterns. Design scalable cloud-native AWS architectures supporting high availability and operational resilience. Develop data transformation, validation, synchronization, and governance services supporting provider, practitioner, organization, healthcare service, and location information. Participate in architecture reviews, technical design sessions, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and code reviews. Support automated testing, CI/CD deployment pipelines, production releases, troubleshooting, and operational support.
