Business Systems Developer Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne Salary: Up to £32,000 + Benefits We're looking for a Business Systems Developer to join a growing IT team, helping to support, maintain and enhance business critical systems across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in SQL, systems integration, business applications or application support who is looking to develop their career in a varied, hands on role. What You'll Be Doing • Developing and improving workflows within the company's practice management systems • Building and maintaining integrations with third party platforms and services • Working with SQL Server, T-SQL, SSMS and SSIS • Creating and maintaining reports, dashboards and management information • Supporting users with business applications and system related issues • Assisting with system upgrades, enhancements and new projects • Producing technical documentation and supporting training initiatives What We're Looking For • Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, SSMS and/or SSIS • Experience supporting or developing business applications and systems • Understanding of APIs and systems integrations • Strong problem solving and analytical skills • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across the business • Experience within legal technology, practice management, case management or document management systems would be highly advantageous Nice To Have • Experience with REST APIs • Exposure to AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or LLM based technologies • Experience creating reports and dashboards What's On Offer • Salary up to £32,000 • Newcastle based role • Opportunity to work on a range of development and integration projects • Ongoing training and career development • Supportive and collaborative team environment If you're passionate about technology, systems development and process improvement, we'd love to hear from you.
