Description
Our Client is looking for an Intermediate Software Developer with strong front-end development experience to support the development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of large-scale applications.
Key Responsibilities
Translate technical specifications into functional and tested applications
Develop programming specifications and write maintainable code
Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and documentation
Support application implementation, conversion, and migration activities
Collaborate with developers, designers, business stakeholders, and other IT professionals
Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage tasks through Kanban boards
Ensure applications meet accessibility and usability requirements
Provide post-implementation support and resolve technical issues
Must-Have Qualifications
2 5 years of experience as an intermediate front-end developer
Strong experience with React, Next.js, and Jamstack
Experience working on large-scale government or banking applications
Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure
Understanding of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS cloud service models
Working knowledge of Figma or similar design tools
Experience with Agile methodologies, Kanban boards, and task-management tools
Knowledge of DevOps processes, including pipelines and deployment workflows
Experience Implementing AODA Accessibility Requirements
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
Previous Ontario Public Service or broader public-sector experience
Experience preparing technical documentation, reports, assessments, and design reviews
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
