Role Overview We're looking for an Intermediate Full Stack Developer with 5+ years of experience to join our engineering team. You'll design, build, and ship features across our web application and backend services, working closely with product, design, and fellow engineers to deliver a best-in-class procurement experience for enterprise manufacturing clients. This role suits someone who is comfortable owning features end-to-end, writing clean and maintainable code, and collaborating in a fast-paced, product-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain full stack features across the Axya platform, from database to UICollaborate with Product and Design to translate requirements into scalable, well-architected solutionsWrite clean, tested, and maintainable code, and participate actively in code reviewsContribute to system design decisions and help evolve our technical architecture as we scaleDiagnose and resolve performance issues, bugs, and production incidentsWork cross-functionally with Customer Success and Sales to understand client needs and translate them into technical solutionsMentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of engineering excellenceParticipate in sprint planning, technical discussions, and continuous improvement of our development practices What We’re Looking For 5+ years of professional experience as a full stack developer, ideally within a SaaS or B2B software environmentStrong proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, with hands-on experience in a frontend framework such as React, Vue, or AngularSolid backend development experience (e.g., Node.js, Python, or similar) and experience designing RESTful or GraphQL APIsComfort working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and writing efficient queriesExperience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD pipelinesFamiliarity with version control (Git), automated testing, and modern software development best practicesStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving startup environmentExcellent communication skills in English; French is an asset given our Montreal-based teamA collaborative mindset and genuine interest in building products that solve real problems for enterprise clients Nice to Have Experience working with AI/LLM-powered features or integrating with AI APIsExposure to enterprise software environments, particularly in procurement, supply chain, or manufacturingExperience working in a Series A or early-stage startup Why Join Axya 🏖 Unlimited vacation policy: because we believe in balance.🏥 Comprehensive health insurance: your well-being matters.🕒 Flexible work schedule: results matter more than hours.🏡 100% remote: get the job done wherever you prefer.🚀 Be part of a high-impact, collaborative team making real change in a traditional industry.
