A technology team is seeking a Java developer to design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot. You will develop complex database solutions, troubleshoot application and performance issues, participate in code reviews, and use AI-assisted coding tools responsibly within existing systems. At least three years of Java and Spring Boot experience is required.

Description

Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas.Utilize AI-powered code generation tools (GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer, or similar).Integrate AI-generated code into existing systems.Troubleshoot application and database performance issues.Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.Stay updated on emerging AI tools and frameworks. Required Qualifications 3+ years of Java and Spring Boot development.Strong SQL expertise (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).Hands-on experience with AI code generation tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.).Experience with Microservices, REST APIs, and Docker/Kubernetes.Knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and Git.Strong problem-solving skills and Agile experience.
