The Role
Design, develop, deliver - here's what you'll be responsible for:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications using TypeScript across frontend and backend technologiesBuild responsive, accessible user interfaces with React and Next.js while delivering exceptional user experiences across web platformsDevelop secure, high-performance backend services, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL endpoints using Node.js frameworks such as Express or FastifyDesign, optimise, and maintain relational databases while ensuring application performance, reliability, and scalabilityImplement authentication, authorisation, secure coding practices, and performance optimisation across the application stackCollaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle, from solution design and development through testing, deployment, and production supportContribute to technical discussions, code reviews, automation initiatives, and the adoption of emerging technologies and AI-assisted development tools
What We're Looking For
A technically strong, solution-oriented software engineer:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related disciplineMinimum 3 years of hands-on experience in full stack software developmentStrong proficiency in TypeScript with proven experience developing applications using React, Next.js, Node.js, Express, or FastifyExperience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL servicesSolid knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL, including database design and optimisation, with experience using ORM tools such as PrismaFamiliar with frontend state management, testing frameworks, secure authentication methods (JWT/OAuth), and modern web security best practicesExperience with AWS, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and Agile software development practicesStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a passion for learning new technologies and leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or GitHub CopilotReady to build modern, scalable applications using the latest TypeScript technologies?
