Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Front-End Developer to join their digital development team responsible for delivering enterprise-scale, customer-facing web experiences. Location: Onsite Toronto Duration: 8 months to start Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale web applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.5 and/or AEM as a Cloud Service).Build and enhance reusable AEM Components, Templates, Editable Templates, Experience Fragments, Content Fragments, HTL (Sightly), and Client Libraries (ClientLibs).Develop modern, responsive, accessible, and high-performing front-end applications and Single Page Applications (SPAs) using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Node.js, and Vue.js (preferred), React, or Angular.Support page authoring experiences and troubleshoot issues across Author and Publish environments using CRX/CRXDE and standard AEM debugging tools.Design, develop, and support REST API integrations and service-based architectures, validating integrations using tools such as Postman.Collaborate with Product Owners, UX teams, architects, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to gather requirements, assess technical feasibility, define solutions, and provide implementation estimates.Lead end-to-end implementation of complex features including solution design, proof of concepts, development, unit testing, deployment, QA support, production releases, and post-production optimization.Participate in Agile delivery, Git-based development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, release management, and DevOps practices. Requirements 5+ years of front-end software development experience delivering enterprise-scale web applications.Minimum 1โ€“2 years of hands-on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development experience supporting production websites.Strong experience with Adobe Experience Manager 6.5 and/or AEM as a Cloud Service.Hands-on experience developing AEM Components, Templates, Editable Templates, Experience Fragments, Content Fragments, HTL (Sightly), Client Libraries (ClientLibs), and supporting Page Authoring.Strong understanding of AEM Author and Publish architecture, CRX/CRXDE, debugging, and multi-environment deployments.Strong experience with Vue.js (preferred), React, or Angular within the AEM ecosystem.Strong proficiency with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Node.js, Webpack, and modern front-end development practices.Experience building and supporting Single Page Applications (SPAs).Experience consuming and troubleshooting REST APIs and enterprise service integrations using tools such as Postman.Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Agile delivery methodologies, and release management.Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), web performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.Experience supporting large-scale, consumer-facing web applications in enterprise environments.Adobe Experience Manager Developer Certification is considered an asset.Experience with Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign, or other Adobe Experience Cloud products is considered an asset.
