We're looking for experienced Java Developers to join CGI's team working with business-critical systems. This is not a traditional project-based development role—instead, you'll be involved throughout the entire application lifecycle, from development and testing to production support and continuous improvements. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working close to production environments and wants to make a real impact on systems that are critical to everyday business operations. For this position, you will be employed through Clevry. The start date is flexible and will be agreed upon once the right candidate has been found, preferably during August 2026. What you'll be doing As a Java Developer, you'll play a key role in maintaining, developing and improving business-critical applications. You'll collaborate with experienced colleagues and business stakeholders to ensure stable, secure and high-quality solutions. Your responsibilities will include: Developing backend applications using Java and Spring BootDesigning, implementing and maintaining REST APIs and integrationsMaintaining and enhancing production systemsInvestigating and resolving production incidents and technical issuesWriting and maintaining unit, integration and API testsContributing to test automation and continuous improvementsWorking closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teamsSupporting the full software lifecycle in a continuous services environment We're looking for someone with To succeed in this role, you have experience working with production environments where quality, stability and long-term maintainability are essential.
