We’re looking for a Medior Cloud Engineer to strengthen our DevOps and infrastructure capabilities and help us run a highly scalable, secure, and reliable cloud platform used by millions of users worldwide.
In this role, you’ll work at the heart of our engineering organization - building, automating, and operating cloud infrastructure that powers Whalebone’s cybersecurity products across multiple cloud providers.

Responsibilities
Build, automate, and maintain cloud infrastructure for Whalebone’s core cybersecurity platformOperate and manage containerized environments using Kubernetes and DockerDesign and implement solutions using CNCF tools (Prometheus, Argo, Helm) and technologies from vendors such as HashiCorp and ElasticDeploy and operate systems across multiple cloud providers (mainly GCP), with a strong focus on portability and vendor independenceMonitor performance and troubleshoot production issues using Grafana, Prometheus, and related observability toolsCollaborate closely with backend engineers to ensure reliable delivery for global customersParticipate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and continuous infrastructure improvement
Requirements
Strong Linux background and solid understanding of system internalsHands-on experience with Kubernetes (or OpenShift) in production environmentsProven experience in a Cloud Engineer / DevOps / SRE roleBasic programming or scripting skills (e.g.
Bash, Python)Good understanding of monitoring, observability, and CI/CD principlesAbility to work independently in a dynamic, fast-growing environment
Nice to have
Knowledge of computer networking, especially DNSExperience with CNCF projects, HashiCorp tools, Elastic, or ClickHouseExperience operating systems at scale or in security-sensitive environments
