We are looking for a Product Engineer (Go) to join the team accountable for the Payments systems integrations and operation. We expect you to: Build and operate PSP integrations for cards and banks (APIs + webhooks).Design provider-agnostic payments state model: async confirmations & callbacks, pending flows, deduplication, retries, flow routing, PSPs availability handling.Automate operations: disputes/chargebacks/refunds, reconciliation, missing or late provider events, customer events tracing and forensics.Deliver stability of the payments stack: observability, safe releases (flags/canaries/rollbacks), incident response, customer support.Deliver payment security & regulatory controls: SCA/3DS, PCI-aware controls and boundaries, secrets/key management, access controls, audit trails and provision of evidence for audits/regulatory requests.Integrate anti-fraud and AML controls: transactions monitoring and risk-scoring, fingerprinting, velocity/rate limits, rule-based decisions and provider/risk-tool integrations. What is important to us: You consistently put customer value and team goals above everything else when making any decision during your work.Engineering mindset: ability to build new under uncertainty, understand big complex systems, navigating root causes, and choose mindful solutions.Proven Go backend experience in regulated payments/fintech, including hands-on PSP integrations for cards and banks (APIs, webhooks/callbacks, idempotency, double-charge prevention, retries/timeouts logic).Hands-on experience automating payment operations: refunds, chargebacks, reconciliation, settlement workflows automation. Scripts & tools for manual interventions and audits.Risk & regulation exposure: hands-on implementation experience of security, compliance, antifraud and AML requirements with software controls: SCA/3DS, PCI-DSS, RBAC, secrets, audit trails, transaction monitoring, velocity controls, and risk-tool integrations.Production reliability experience: observability, resilience practices, incident management, safe releases.Commitment to engineering quality through writing tests and automating quality checks (integration / contract / E2E).
