Description

This a Full Time position is Calgary, Canada working with US clients. We offer: Up to $60 USD perWorking 40 hours per week Title: Android Engineer Responsibilities Construct, enhance, and troubleshoot native Android applications in an Agile, collaborative environment.Implement complex new features and functionality across the application stack.Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and business partners to create robust and functional solutions.Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Diagnose and resolve issues relating to performance, reliability, and scalability.Maintain high standards of code quality, documentation, and testing. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.8+ years of experience building and maintaining large-scale Android applications.Deep knowledge of Kotlin and Kotlin Coroutines.Hands-on experience with Android Architecture Components, MVVM, and Jetpack Compose.Strong experience with asynchronous programming and concurrency on Android.Proven experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks.Experience with enterprise-level branching/merging workflows using Jenkins.Strong understanding of mobile performance, latency, and security issues, with hands-on experience using performance analysis tools.
