We're on the lookout for Senior Backend Engineers to join our Staffbase team and help us build an awesome internal communications platform. As part of our tech stack, we are using: React.js, Javascript, Typescript, Tailwind CSS, Kotlin, Go, Java, MongoDB, Terraform, Docker and Playwright, to name a few. What you'll be doing Responsible for improving and developing both our web-based clients, native apps, and our RESTful web servicesWork in a cross-functional scrum team and produce high-quality and tested codeGive and receive valuable feedback in our code review process and continuously learn and share knowledge with your peersBeing open to feedback and taking ownership of your work are essentialTake ownership for topics ranging from the features you produce to the quality of our work to the environment we work inYou work iteratively, frequently pushing code, ensuring a good CI/CD pipeline, and automating where possible What you need to be successful 5+ years experience as a Backend Engineer working with Go and preferably Java/KotlinStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentPassion for the things you build and want to make a differencePreferably, you have worked in an agile environment beforeYou value quality as well as clean code and learning new thingsGood English communication skillsYou are a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a teamUnderstanding and appreciative diversity and inclusivity in the workplace What you'll get Competitive Compensation - we offer attractive salary packages including LTIP (unit-based Long Term Incentive Plan)Flexibility - we offer flexible working time models and the option of hybrid work, and support this with a yearly flex work allowance of €1560Recharge - with 31 vacation days annually (incl. one floating holiday), plus pro rata fully paid Fridays off during AugustSupport - we offer offering a company pension schemeVolunteers Day - you'll get one day off per year for supporting a social project
