Senior Full Stack Engineer

To support the massive growth that the business can foresee, talented software engineers with experience in working on enterprise level software are required. As part of this role the team member will be focussing on delivering backend and front end changes to systems that support our digital ecommerce platforms. As a key technical member, you will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineering leaders to ensure delivery of robust, user-centric technical solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and technical direction of our systems, contributing actively to the various codebases.Development activities associated with the delivery of assigned user stories in line with agile delivery practice, working in close collaboration with team membersChampion and implement robust automation and testing strategies (unit, integration, UI) to ensure high code quality and reliability.Perform code review for peers’ work, and ensure best practices in software engineering and CI/CD are followed.Mentor and coach engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in technical practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align the technical roadmap with product goals.Stay current with industry trends and technologies to guide innovation and strategic decision-making. Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Excellent C# / .Net / .Net Core development skills6+ years experience writing software for key corporate applications, preferably retail systemsExcellent knowledge of Azure SQL and working with MS relational databasesKnowledge of other development frameworks/languages, eg JavascriptAble to work with Angular, Typescript, CSS and HTML5Modern development toolchain (VSTS/Azure DevOps/GIT etc)Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure.CI/CD development/deployment practicesGood knowledge of developing web components that conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0Expert knowledge and understanding of RESTful web servicesModern software design practicesSecure coding best practicesStrong development testing knowledge - Unit testing, test automationExperience working in Agile Development teamsJira & Confluence experienceExperience working with AI software development tools
