We’re hiring a Full Stack Engineer to help build and scale core product capabilities end-to-end. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning features across the stack — from designing APIs and backend systems to crafting intuitive, high-performance user interfaces. You’ll work closely with product, design, and engineering to ship impactful features and shape the overall architecture of the platform. About The Role This is a high-ownership role that blends: Full stack product development (frontend + backend)System design and API developmentUI/UX implementation and performance optimizationCross-functional collaboration with product and design You’ll zoom out to influence system architecture and zoom in to deliver polished, end-to-end product experiences. What You’ll Do Full Stack Product Development Design and build end-to-end features across frontend and backend systemsDevelop APIs and services that power core product functionalityBuild intuitive, responsive, and high-performance user interfacesOwn features from concept through production Backend Systems & Infrastructure Build and scale backend services for workflow automation and data processingDevelop asynchronous pipelines and distributed systems for handling large volume of dataWork with AWS services and queueing systems (e.g., SQS) to support scalable infrastructureEnsure reliability, performance, and observability across systems Frontend Experience & Performance Implement user interfaces using modern frameworks (e.g., React)Optimize frontend performance, responsiveness, and usabilityCollaborate with design to deliver polished, accessible user experiencesContribute to frontend architecture and component systems Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with product and design to define and build new featuresWork with other engineers to integrate APIs and data models effectivelyContribute to product planning, technical scoping, and architecture decisionsHelp translate customer needs into scalable technical solutions About You 3–6+ years of experience building full stack applicationsStrong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React)Experience with backend frameworks such as Node.js, Django, or similarExperience designing APIs and working with distributed systems or asynchronous processingFamiliarity with AWS and cloud infrastructureStrong understanding of performance, scalability, and reliabilityExperience shipping features end-to-end in a collaborative environmentComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environmentStrong communication and collaboration skills Bonus Experience building workflow tools, internal platforms, or data-heavy applicationsFamiliarity with document processing, OCR, or AI/ML integrationsExperience with drag-and-drop interfaces or complex frontend state managementExperience optimizing systems for high throughput and low latencyBackground in financial services or other regulated industriesExperience at a high-growth B2B SaaS company What We Offer Competitive compensation and equityHealth, dental, and vision coverageUnlimited PTODowntown Toronto office locationOffice snacks and lunchesA supportive, low-ego team that values ownership and growthCompany offsite to connect and recharge If you’re excited about building end-to-end product experiences that power critical workflows — and want to have a meaningful impact at a fast-growing startup — we’d love to meet you.
