Located in our user experience design Beijing team. You will be fully responsible and leading the innovation ideation, the holistic user journey and the user experience design for our product (MBUX). Your mission is to provide best-in-class and best market fitting user experiences to Chinese customers. Further on you are in charge of to steering all UX/UI activities and the collaborative integration with the relevant stakeholders within China and Headquarter. Task description:Closely working with Product Manager, Development team, deliver the UX/UI design with Mercedes-Benz design system, guideline & principle for various domain/features (E.g. Digital cluster, Vehicle Function, ADAS, Mercedes-me App etc)Follow modern creation and ideation processes and work closely together with solution architects and technical specialists to ensure that the designed experience is conform to architectural principles and our overall product styleguides. Collaborate with stakeholders in software development activities using the Scrum/Agile development process. Coordinate closely with stakeholders in other business departments focusing on customer needs and product strategy to align about the deliverables into product development. Be actively drive and participate verification and test drive and end to end accountable for final series product. Take the ownership to cooperate with Product Manager and Development team to safeguard the design quality of software release.QualifikationenQualification:Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, UX Design, Human Machine Interface Design, Visual design with a similar major.3+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, preferably in automotive, consumer electronics, or a related tech field. An exceptional eye for aesthetics and detail, with a strong understanding of layout, composition, color theory, and iconography.A competitive design portfolio demonstrating your worksGood knowledge about state-of-the art technologies and interaction patterns for digital devicesExperience in developing embedded applications, with in-car application is a plus.Mastery of industry-standard design tools, with Figma being essential.
