Cloud Engineer (Azure) 💰 £55,000 to £65,000 DOE + bonus 📍 Hybrid, ideally 1 day a week in London office, can be flexible here if further away. They are looking for an Azure Platform Engineer with strong platform engineering, DevOps and infrastructure as code expertise to join their delivery team. Key Responsibilities Design, build and deploy Azure platforms across greenfield and migration projectsDeliver Azure landing zones and scalable cloud environments using best practice designBuild and manage AKS environments as part of modern containerised architecturesImplement infrastructure as code using Terraform for provisioning and automationDevelop and maintain CI CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git based workflowsDrive DevOps practices across engineering teams, improving release and deployment processesImplement monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor and related toolingEmbed security best practice across environments, including Defender for Cloud and Azure Security CentreContribute to internal tooling, reusable assets, and engineering standards Ideal Experience Strong Azure engineering experience across build, deployment and migration projectsTerraform is essential, with proven experience delivering infrastructure as code at scaleExperience with Azure DevOps, CI CD pipelines and Git based version controlHands on experience with containerisation and Kubernetes, ideally AKSExperience designing and deploying Azure landing zonesStrong understanding of automation and provisioning within cloud environmentsExposure to Azure security tooling including Defender for Cloud and Azure Security CentreExperience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics or similar Certifications (Desirable) Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ 104)Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ 400)Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ 305)Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ 700)HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate If you are the kind of engineer who lives and breathes Azure, likes to build things properly rather than cut corners, and wants to work somewhere that genuinely values the craft, this one is worth a look.
