Software Engineer

We're looking for a Software Engineer to help build and maintain the systems that power customer onboarding, data imports, and third-party integrations. About the RoleAs a Software Engineer, you'll develop the tools and integrations that enable new customers to successfully onboard to GoAccess. You'll work closely with Engineering, Customer Success, and Operations to automate onboarding workflows, build import pipelines, maintain integrations, and ensure customer data is accurate and reliable. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-world problems, building internal tools, and creating software that directly impacts the customer experience. ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain customer data import pipelines and migration tools.Develop and maintain integrations with third-party platforms and APIs.Build internal tools that improve onboarding efficiency and reduce manual work.Import, validate, and troubleshoot customer data during onboarding.Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested JavaScript/TypeScript code.Design and optimize PostgreSQL queries, schemas, and data migrations.Investigate and resolve implementation and data quality issues.Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, and Operations to improve onboarding workflows.Document technical processes and contribute to engineering best practices. Required QualificationsProfessional experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.Strong experience with PostgreSQL and SQL.Experience building and consuming REST APIs.Experience working with JSON, CSV, and Excel data.Strong understanding of Git and modern software development workflows.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to independently own projects from design through deployment.Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred QualificationsExperience building ETL pipelines or data migration systems.Experience with Node.js.Experience integrating with third-party APIs.Experience developing internal tooling or automation.Experience working in a SaaS environment.Familiarity with property management, HOA software, or access control systems.
