Iris client, one of their Educational Client is looking to hire Senior Developer – AWS Cloud-Native (Node.js / TypeScript) for Princeton NJ(1 day hybrid/Month) Job Title: Senior Developer – AWS Cloud-Native (Node.js / TypeScript) Location: Princeton NJ(1 day hybrid/Month) Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance Job description: Client is seeking a Senior Developer with strong experience in AWS cloud-native application development and TypeScript to support the design and development of the NAEP platform. In this role, you will work closely with architects, product owners, and engineering teams to design and build scalable, secure, and high-performing applications. You will contribute to technical design decisions, develop high-quality backend services, and help ensure engineering has best practices across the team. The ideal candidate is passionate about building modern cloud-native systems, enjoys solving complex technical problems, and thrives in a collaborative Agile environment. Key Responsibilities Design and develop cloud-native applications on AWS using modern architecture patterns such as microservices, event-driven, and serverless architecturesBuild scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScriptDevelop and maintain secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and backend servicesCollaborate with architects and senior engineers on application architecture and designIntegrate backend services with frontend applications and other platform componentsWork with multiple data storage technologies, including Amazon S3, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databasesParticipate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices to ensure high-quality, maintainable codeBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Infrastructure as Code, and automated testingEnsure applications meet security, reliability, scalability, and performance standardsWork within Agile development teams, contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and frequent releasesStay current with emerging technologies and best practices in cloud computing and distributed systemsCollaborate with team members to solve technical challenges and continuously improve engineering practices Required Qualifications Strong experience in Node.js and TypeScript development4+ years of experience developing applications using Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScriptStrong experience building and deploying cloud-native applications on AWSExperience developing serverless applications on AWS, including:API GatewayAWS LambdaSQSSNSIAM roles and permissions Thanks & Regards Sunil Kamboj Sr. Executive - TA Iris Software 200 Metroplex Drive, Suite #300 Edison, NJ 08817
