Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performing software systems across the full technology stack. • Translate business and functional requirements into clear, well-defined technical specifications. • Leverage AI-assisted tools for code generation, testing, debugging, and documentation, while validating and refining AI outputs. • Drive spec-driven development, creating and refining technical specifications that serve as the source of truth for development. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams to deliver business value. • Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and guidance, contributing to coding standards and best practices. What You'll Need • Mobile development experience using React Native. • Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, .NET). • Experience with cloud platforms and distributed systems. • Solid understanding of system design, APIs, and data models. • Experience with automated testing and CI/CD practices. • Experience working in spec-driven or contract-first development environments and using AI-assisted development tools effectively.
