Role: Python Developer - DevOps (Hybrid) Location: Kraków , Poland Position: Permanent Please Note : Must work 3 days from the end customer's office in Krakow Poland Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer to design and build scalable, high- performance backend systems leveraging modern cloud-native and microservices-based architectures. This role focuses on developing robust RESTful APIs, building containerized applications, and deploying solutions on Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Java development, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures, along with hands-on experience in containerization and modern DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs and backend services using JavaBuild and maintain enterprise-grade microservices architecturesDevelop and manage event-driven applications using Kafka or Pub/Sub systemsImplement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, SSO)Containerize applications using Docker and deploy on Kubernetes/OpenShift platformsDesign and integrate with relational and NoSQL databasesCollaborate with DevOps teams to enable CI/CD pipelines and automated deploymentsEnsure system performance, scalability, and reliabilityParticipate in code reviews, design discussions, and architectural improvementsTroubleshoot and resolve issues in production and distributed environments Required Skills & Experience Core DevelopmentStrong proficiency in Java for backend developmentExperience building REST APIs and web servicesSolid understanding of microservices architecture and design patternsCloud-Native & Containerization Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShiftUnderstanding of cloud-native application design principlesEvent-Driven Architecture Experience with messaging systems such as Apache Kafka and Pub/Sub frameworksKnowledge of asynchronous processing and event-driven system designSecurity & Identity Experience implementing OAuth 2.0 and Single Sign-On (SSO)Strong understanding of secure API design and authentication workflowsDatabase & Persistence Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)Ability to design efficient data models and optimize queriesPreferred Qualifications Experience with distributed systems and high-throughput applicationsExposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesFamiliarity with service mesh, observability, and API gatewaysExperience in OpenShift-based enterprise environmentsUnderstanding of performance optimization and concurrency in JavaSoft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environmentExcellent communication and collaboration skills
