Position: Java Developer Location: Montreal, Canada Experience Required: 5 – 11 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Client is looking for who are Citizens or Permanent Residents Job Description We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, Microservices, and cloud-native application development. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable, high-performance enterprise applications and working in Agile environments. Roles & Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications • Develop RESTful APIs and Microservices using Spring Boot • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements • Participate in application architecture, design reviews, and technical discussions • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices • Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning • Integrate applications with databases, messaging systems, and third-party services • Support CI/CD implementation and DevOps practices • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions • Work within Agile/Scrum development methodologies Required Skills • 5–11 years of hands-on Java development experience • Strong experience with Java 8/11/17 and Core Java concepts • Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Framework • Experience with Microservices Architecture • Strong knowledge of REST APIs and web services • Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL • Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies • Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred Sk • Financial Services or Banking domain experience • Experience with event-driven architecture • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies
