Role: Java Developer Location: Montreal, Canada _ Onsite Mandatory Skill: Core Java Desired Skills: Python, Spring Boot Experience: 5–12 Years Domain: Financial & Wealth Management Job Description We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with 5–12 years of experience in developing and maintaining enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Core Java and experience with Spring Boot and Python. Experience in building scalable microservices and working in Agile environments is preferred. Required Skills · Strong experience with Core Java (Mandatory) · Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Python (Preferred) · Experience in developing RESTful APIs and Microservices · Good knowledge of SQL/DB2 databases · Familiarity with Apache Spark is an advantage · Experience with JUnit, Jenkins, and SonarQube · Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices · Knowledge of Kafka and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus · Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Key Responsibilities · Design, develop, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications · Build and support Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions · Optimize application performance and database queries · Develop unit tests and ensure code quality · Participate in CI/CD implementation and Agile ceremonies · Troubleshoot production issues and provide application support
