Senior React Developer 📍 Location: Sofia, Bulgaria 🏢 Work Model: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote) We're a recruitment agency hiring on behalf of our client for a full-time, permanent position. Our client is a leading European product-based fintech, building cutting-edge financial products and services for a global client base. About the Role: We're looking for an experienced Senior React Developer to join a high-performing engineering team building scalable web and mobile applications used by millions of users globally. You'll work in a collaborative environment where ownership, innovation, and AI-driven development are part of everyday work. What You'll Do Design, build and maintain high-quality React and React Native applications for web and mobile platforms.Transform UI/UX designs into responsive, user-friendly, and technically sound applications.Enhance existing features, improve application performance, and support internal tools.Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while contributing to CI/CD and code quality initiatives.AI-First mindset: Leverage AI throughout the software development lifecycle. Daily use of Anthropic's Claude (via Claude Code) is an integral part of development, alongside strong engineering judgment to validate and refine AI-generated output.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, share technical knowledge, and promote engineering best practices.Work within small, autonomous teams delivering features through short development cycles. What We're Looking For 7/8+ years of professional experience with React and Redux.2+ years of hands-on experience with React Native and mobile application development.Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.Experience with modern frontend tooling, including Webpack, Babel, Jest, Enzyme, and Metro.Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable frontend development.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment.Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Strong understanding of UX principles, including Responsive Design, Mobile-First Development, Adaptive Interfaces, and Accessibility.
