Senior Back End Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our development team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining reliable, scalable, and secure backend systems that support high-quality web and mobile applications. As a senior developer, you will also mentor junior team members, contribute to backend architecture decisions, and help establish engineering best practices. Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and server-side applications using Node.jsDesign scalable, secure, and high-performance backend architectureCollaborate with frontend developers, mobile developers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality featuresBuild and integrate RESTful APIs and backend servicesOptimize application performance, database queries, and system reliabilityReview code, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standardsTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues across development and production environmentsMentor junior developers and support technical knowledge sharing within the teamStay updated with the latest backend development trends, frameworks, and best practices Requirements Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript or TypeScriptExtensive experience in building and maintaining backend services and APIsSolid understanding of RESTful API design and backend architecture principlesExperience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similarFamiliarity with authentication, authorization, and security best practicesExperience with version control tools like GitKnowledge of microservices architectureAbility to write clean, maintainable, scalable, and well-tested codeStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailFluent verbal communication skills in English are requiredFamiliarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban is a plus Nice to Have Experience with Java Spring BootExperience with message queues such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similarUnderstanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolsExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or AzureKnowledge of testing frameworks and automated testing practices
