Site Reliability Engineer

We’re looking for a senior-level Site Reliability Engineer to join our skilled team that is eager to embrace your new ideas, and give you an opportunity to influence how our Operations look like. In this role you will: Support development teams in implementing, rolling out, and testing new features/productsPlan and build new development, QA, and production infrastructure, making sure operational requirements and best practices are metMaintain and improve several existing systemsParticipate in the development of our UKS (UpCloud Kubernetes Service) productHandle daily operational tasks together with the rest of the operations team, keeping production running by focusing more on the software side of things, automation, and monitoringPlan and execute change management and regular maintenance with minimal impact to production You will need to have: Several years of Linux server administration experienceGood understanding of distributed computing systemsExperience with Docker/KubernetesVirtualization and storage systems knowledgeExperience with high availability databases, preferably MySQL and PostgreSQL.Scripting skills (Bash/Python)Automation and IaC experience (Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu)Ability to design and implement monitoringExperience with version control and CI/CD pipelinesBasic knowledge of server/networking hardware and Data CentersA can-do attitude, with proven problem-solving and solution-finding skills We also appreciate: Software development experienceSecurity-oriented mindsetDocumentation and presentation skills Why join UpCloud? The pay range for this role is around 5000-7000 euros per month, depending on your seniority and location. The range is not set in stone, as we assess each case individually.
