Founding Engineer (Full-Time | San Francisco | Zero-to-One Product Systems)
At Dynamism, we partner with breakout startups backed by Sequoia, a16z, and Y Combinator to help them hire engineers with founder energy, people who build fast, think like owners, and thrive in zero-to-one environments.
We're hiring a Founding Engineer profile for a 2023-founded AI fintech company building modern infrastructure for financial institutions.
The company is Y Combinator-backed, has grown to approximately 40 employees, raised a $29M Series A, and is already working with leading US banks.
The title reflects the level of ownership.
You will build new products from first principles, work directly with users, and help establish how a growing engineering and deployment function operates.
This is a role for someone who wants responsibility for the outcome, not just the implementation.
Location: San Francisco, on-site Monday through Friday
Comp Range: $160K to $265K base plus 75th-percentile equity
Stage: Series A, $29M round
Stack: TypeScript, React, Next.js, PostgreSQL, Python, AI and LLM tooling
Customers: Leading US banks and commercial lenders
